I highly recommend Sina Rez Law. A friend referred me to them after a car accident, and they were incredible from start to finish. They took care of absolutely everything so I could focus entirely on recovering. They answered all of my questions quickly, looked out for my best interests, and treated me like family throughout the entire process. They truly care about their clients.

If you are looking for a Lemon Law attorney I would highly recommend you work with Sina Rez Law firm.

The staff that work for Sina were a God send for me. It was totally random that one of his ads came across my feed on Instagram, I completed the questionnaire online, and within 24 hours I was already scheduled for a phone consultation. Honestly, I didn’t know if this was a scam company, since you can’t always believe everything you see on social media. But please take my word for it, they are legit! And to be honest, I didn’t even know if my situation would qualify for a lemon law case, but I was willing to take a chance to find out.

I bought my car brand new in 2024. Towards the end of 2025 I had started having issues with the battery dying. I had taken it back to the dealer on multiple occasions, and all they did was charge the battery up. There were even a few times where I had been left stranded at random locations unable to turn the car on, and I had to wait for roadside assistance to come and give me a jump to get home, or to the dealer. The dealer would keep my car for repair for weeks at a time unable to find the source of the problem. After the 4th time I knew this was not normal and I needed to figure out a solution, even though the car was still under warranty.

When I contacted the firm they gave me the option to handle everything via text, email, or phone calls which was very convenient for my busy schedule. I explained what the circumstances were, presented the service records as they requested, and provided my history of payments, and fees for what I had paid for. Initially, the contact was frequent because the case manager had questions or needed forms, so communication was every few days. After the case was assigned to an attorney, I was only contacted once a month for follow up. In addition, the follow up calls were brief just to let me know the proposal, and waiting for the manufacturer to reply to demand letters etc, or if things would move to litigation. And I had the ability to call, or email them 24/7 with any questions or concerns, and a response would usually come the next business day. Furthermore, one thing my case manager and the attorney made clear was that there were different options on how the case could be resolved, and that they would try their best to get a repurchase, but there was no guarantee on the final outcome, and if there was no agreement by both parties litigation was the next step. Overall, the whole process for me took about 4 months from the beginning of doing the online questionnaire, to settlement and finally surrendering the vehicle back to the dealership. Thankfully, it didn’t come down to a litigation case because I don’t know if it would have been more paid out from the manufacturer, or less.

During this current economic climate you can’t beat free legal assistance. The manufacturer agreed to pay the attorney fees as well so it was a win all around.

I hope this review helps you in your decision making.

Lastly, just want to send a huge “Thank You” to the staff and Mr. Sina Rezvanpour.

Sina Rez Law is top notch. I was somewhat reluctant because the firm is so far from my NorCal residence. Amanda and Sereen were responsive and thorough. The entire process took only 3 months. I give the firm a solid 5 stars.

If you have a lemon, do yourself a favor and call Sina Rez Law. I worked with Rodger on a claim for my Hyundai Elantra N Line after it spent weeks in the shop for persistent A/C issues. Rodger made the entire process incredibly smooth, kept me updated every step of the way, and ultimately secured a massive settlement for me. His professionalism and dedication to getting me a great result were unmatched. Highly recommend Rodger and this firm

If you need a lemon law lawyer Sina Rez is definitely the one to see. They handled my case beautifully, My 2018 Range Rover was purchased certified pre owned and from day one immediately had problems with the engine, cooling, transmission, etc. I didn't think i had a case because my car was CPO. Sina Rez got me great compensation and turned my total loss of a situation into a win/win.

Frequently asked questions

California Lemon Law Questions? We Have Answers
Free Consultation
Do I really need a California lemon law attorney?
Technically no, but manufacturers have teams of lawyers. Going alone means fighting their experts without backup. We level the playing field and typically get 3-5x more compensation than people who go solo.
What are California lemon law attorney fees?
You usually pay nothing. California law requires the manufacturer to pay your attorney if you win or settle.
How long will my lemon law case take?
Most cases take 6 to 10 months. Some resolve faster. A few take longer if the manufacturer fights.
What happens during a lemon law case?
Your attorney reviews your repair history, sends a demand to the manufacturer, and negotiates. Many cases settle without a lawsuit. If not, a lawsuit is filed and pushed toward resolution.
What is the lemon law buyback in California?
A buyback means the manufacturer repurchases your vehicle. You get a refund of payments, down payment, taxes, registration, and sometimes remaining loan balance, minus a small mileage offset.
What is the average lemon law settlement in California?
It varies. Many cases end in a full buyback or a cash settlement ranging from several thousand dollars to tens of thousands, depending on the defect and vehicle value.
What if I'm still making payments?
You usually keep making payments during the case. If you win, the manufacturer typically pays off the loan or reimburses you.
Can I file after 18 months?
Yes. The 18-month period is a presumption window, not a hard deadline. You can still have a valid case after that.
Refund vs. replacement – which is better?
Most people choose a refund. It gives you a clean break. Replacements can carry risk if the new vehicle has issues too.
What evidence makes—or breaks—a lemon law case?
Repair orders are everything. Multiple repair attempts for the same issue, time out of service, and warranty coverage matter most. Missing paperwork hurts cases.
Does the lemon law apply to leased vehicles?
Yes. Leased vehicles are fully covered under California lemon law.
Will this affect my credit?
No. A lemon law claim does not impact your credit score.
